Finca Armonia is situated near Alhaurin el Grande in Andalucia, Spain. The beautiful scenery and national parks surrounding Alhaurin are perfect for relaxing holidays, as is the warm, sunny climate of Southern Spain. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in Alhaurin but they are out of walking range so car hire is essential. **

Cars are available to hire at Malaga Airport - you will be given full directions on how to find Finca Armonia.

The unspoilt countryside behind the Costa del Sol has spectacular mountain scenery and is a taste of real Spain. Finca Armonia is just 35 minutes drive west of Malaga Airport and 40 minutes south through the mountains to the coastal resorts of Fuengirola and Marbella.

Malaga, with its cathedral, port and interesting city centre is 45 minutes drive.
Granada, with the Alhambra Palace, is about 2 hours drive and well worth a visit. Internet booking in advance is essential.
The ancient town of Ronda with its amazing bridge over the gorge is a 2 hour drive through the spectacular scenery of the Sierra de las Nieves nature reserve.
The incredible rock formations at El Torcal near Antequerra - 1 hour.
The lakes and gorge at El Chorro - ¾ of an hour.
Closer to home golfers are well catered for in the Alhaurin area with 2 golf courses - Sevvy Balesteros designed Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf - within 10 minutes drive.
For those wishing to go horse riding there are several riding stables in the area.
The area is also good for walking and cycling though we would advise against walking in the middle of the day in July and August unless you are masochists!
In the spring February to May - the wild flowers in the mountains are spectacular and birdwatchers will find plenty to see as well.
